We stumbled upon Club Hotel Florence last spring when we were stuck in Florence for the night and had nowhere else to go. Everywhere we tried was full including Hotel Club, but the staff went right out of their way to find us something. In the end, my daughter and I stayed in a simple but clean room which felt like a palace in relation to the prospect of sleeping on the streets! We ended up spending three nights there in the end.
It wasn’t beautiful but it served our purpose. The hotel’s located right near the station so you can’t get much more central. There was work going on at the time but that wasn’t a big problem. Once again, the staff were wonderful.

This hotel Club de la Gare Florence is perfectly located if you have a lot of luggage and small children as we do, -being able to walk out of the station and 50m to the hotel makes life a lot easier. The staff were friendly and helpful with regard to the kids and the room was spacious enough.
All in all it was a pleasant trip and not least because the hotel was pleasant and hassle free. I’d recommend it to other people like me with kids, on a budget and looking for the best location possible.

This hotel Club Firenze is right in the centre next to the train station so it’s walking distance from everything in the historical centre. A bit basic but what more can you ask for at this price, after all, it was clean, the staff were professional and it was bang in the centre. The breakfast was a bit dull but there’s a bar next door where you can get croissants and cappuccino for a few euros. Other than that I have no cause for complaint.
